Courtney's Story
“For the first time, probably in forever, I wanted to live. I wanted to see what life had for me.”
A Story of Life Change
Courtney started attending Victory City after being invited by a friend. Following almost a decade of isolation, anxiety, and addiction Courtney decided to give God a chance. She visited Victory City for the first time where she rededicated her life to Jesus and joined a group — something she never thought she could do after her years of isolation. Through a new relationship with Jesus and the support of her Connect Group, she found freedom and was able to learn to forgive and have the confidence to step out into the world again. She claims the most exciting thing about knowing Jesus is that she now gets to be a reflection of Him to other people and help them find freedom too.
